Product Description
For general melting volumes that are relatively large (2 - 15 t/h), a vertical coil structure is adopted; for smaller melting volumes (1 - 2 t/h), a horizontal tube bundle structure is used; for very small melting volumes (for testing purposes - 100 - 1000 kg/h), an electric heating structure is employed. While for block asphalt, an intermittent (discontinuous) tube bundle structure is generally used.
Main Structure
Tank Body: Upward straight and downward conical design.
Heating System: Heat transfer oil heating coil (inner, outer, and conical coils).
Stirring System: High-performance motor reducer and support assembly.
Monitoring & Control: Electronic weighing sensors, digital thermometers, and automated valves.
Auxiliaries: Bottom discharge mechanism, asphalt filter, and buffer receiving tank.
Working Principle
1Solid asphalt enters the melting zone via the feeding port. Under high-temperature heat transfer oil and agitator action, the asphalt is melted uniformly. High-quality liquid asphalt is then pressed into the secondary heating zone while slag enters the storage area.
2In the secondary zone, asphalt undergoes further heating, dehydration, and impurity sedimentation. Once the liquid level and temperature meet process requirements, qualified asphalt is stably discharged through a filter to the storage tank.
3Maintenance is simplified via a liquid discharge valve and manhole. Impurities are removed through the bottom slag mechanism. The asphalt pump facilitates transfer to the buffer tank during cleaning or maintenance cycles.
4Precision temperature control is achieved via an outlet measuring point. By adjusting the heat transfer oil inlet valve, the system regulates melting speed and prevents asphalt aging caused by overheating.
