    For general melting volumes that are relatively large (2 - 15 t/h), a vertical coil structure is adopted; for smaller melting volumes (1 - 2 t/h), a horizontal tube bundle structure is used; for very small melting volumes (for testing purposes - 100 - 1000 kg/h), an electric heating structure is employed. While for block asphalt, an intermittent (discontinuous) tube bundle structure is generally used.

    Main Structure

    The main structure consists of an asphalt tank body (upward straight and downward conical), a heat transfer oil heating coil (inner and outer coils and conical coil), a stirring system (motor reducer, support), and a support frame (upper and lower supports and columns). It is also equipped with electronic weighing sensors, digital thermometers, a bottom discharge mechanism, an asphalt filter, an asphalt buffer (receiving) tank, etc.

    Melting Phase: The solid asphalt enters the melting zone through the feeding port. Under the action of high-temperature heat transfer oil in the coil pipes, the asphalt is heated, melted, and mixed by the agitator to ensure uniform heating. Liquid asphalt is pressed into the secondary zone while slag enters the conical storage area.

    Secondary Heating: Asphalt enters the secondary heating zone from the bottom for further heating, dehydration, and impurity sedimentation. Once the temperature meets process requirements, qualified asphalt is discharged through a filter and transported by an insulated pump.

    Cleaning & Maintenance: A liquid discharge valve and manhole are located at the bottom. For cleaning, the asphalt pump sends liquid to the buffer tank, then the bottom slag mechanism discharges settled impurities. The manhole allows maintenance personnel access to the interior.
