Asphalt Melting Tank Equipment from China Suppliers and Factory - Versatile Heating Solutions for Solid Asphalt
Product Description
For general melting volumes that are relatively large (2 - 15 t/h), a vertical coil structure is adopted; for smaller melting volumes (1 - 2 t/h), a horizontal tube bundle structure is used; for very small melting volumes (for testing purposes - 100 - 1000 kg/h), an electric heating structure is employed. While for block asphalt, an intermittent (discontinuous) tube bundle structure is generally used.
Main Structure
The equipment features a robust and integrated design for high efficiency:
Working Principle
Feeding & Initial Melting
The solid asphalt enters the melting zone through the feeding port. Under the action of high-temperature heat transfer oil in the coils, the asphalt is heated, melted, and mixed by the agitator to enhance heat transfer and ensure uniform heating. Liquid asphalt is pressed into the secondary zone while slag enters the conical storage area.
Secondary Heating & Purification
Asphalt enters the secondary heating zone from the bottom for further heating, dehydration, and sedimentation of impurities. Once the temperature meets process requirements and the level reaches the discharge port, qualified asphalt is stably discharged through a filter and transported via an insulated pump.
Slag Discharge & Maintenance
Equipped with a liquid discharge valve and manhole. For cleaning, the liquid asphalt is sent to a buffer tank, then the bottom slag mechanism is activated to remove settled impurities. A bottom manhole is provided for maintenance personnel access.
Precision Temperature Control
A temperature measuring point at the outlet controls the heat transfer oil inlet valve. This regulates the melting speed and liquid temperature, effectively avoiding asphalt aging due to overheating.
